Regional Superior of the Scalabrinian Region our Lady Mother of Migrants, comprising Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay, and Director of SIMN.

His main assignments were on the education field in various seminaries of the Scalabrinian Congregation in Brazil (1975-1984) as well in Rome, Italy (1984- 1987). As a professor, he taught psychology of religion at Pontifical University of Curitiba, Parana, Brazil, and general psychology in the Philosophy Vincentian Faculty, in Curitiba, Brazil (1987-1990). He was Provincial Superior of the St. Paul Province (1996-1998), General Counselor of the Congregation in Rome (1998-2007), and then he returned to formation programs at the Seminary of Philosophy and professor of general psychology in the Philosophy Vincentian Faculty, in Curitiba, Brazil (2007-2013). Since September 2013, he is the Regional Superior of the “Region our Lady Mother of Migrants”.

Fr. Agenor earned his bachelor's degree in philosophy at the John XXIII Seminary, in São Paulo, Brazil, bachelor’s degree in theology at the El Salvador University in Buenos Aires, Argentina, master’s degree in social sciences at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná, master’s degree in psychology at the Pontifical Salesian Univesity, master’s degree in Community Dynamics at the Claretianum, in Rome, and Spiritual Counseling at the Teresianum, in Rome.
