Ontario, Canada, August 14, 2019 – The Leadership Committee of SIMN Ontario organized a fundraising event on August 8th, to support the thousands of Venezuelan refugees who left their homes in search of food and medicine for their families. The spirit of this reception between people who are identified with the mission of SIMN was amazing.
The SIMN Leadership Committee of Ontario has been promoting and hosting fundraising events since 2011. Thanks to caring individuals SIMN has been able to project and support different humanitarian, development and education programs around the world.
On behalf of the Scalabrini International Migration Network (SIMN) and the thousands of migrants, refugees, and victims of human trafficking, who we are serving around the world, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for participating in the reception, to support SIMN´s projects. Thank you for sharing our mission and commitment to safeguard the dignity of migrants and their families!
