Education

SIMN follows a holistic model to address migration crises. Although food, shelter, healthcare, documentation, and jobs are important in the short- and medium-terms, getting children into school is essential in the long-term. That is why the Scalabrinians educate over 8,500 students in Haiti, Colombia, Argentina, Mozambique, and South Africa. Not only do Scalabrini schools help people on the move, they also build communities and keep local families from leaving.
