On the 25th of May, Bishop Buti Tlhagale, the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Johannesburg, visited Saint Patrick’s Parish, La Rochelle and on this occasion, he blessed and inaugurated the center for the services for migrants, refugees, and the underprivileged people. This project is the renovation of the Convent building next to St Patrick’s Parish and was sponsored by the Papal Foundation.
The renovation was led by Bishop Buti and the co-ordinator who saw the renovation through was Fr. Eduardo Gabriel Scalabrinian Missionary and Social Project Co-ordinator at St Patrick’s.
This inauguration was done in preparation for the celebration of the feast of St John Baptist Scalabrini and it is a contribution of the Scalabrinian Missionaries working in the Archdiocese of Johannesburg.

El obispo Buti Tlhagale, arzobispo de la archidiócesis de Johannesburgo, visitó la parroquia de San Patricio en La Rochelle
El 25 de mayo, Mons. Buti Tlhagale, arzobispo de la Arquidiócesis de Johannesburgo, visitó la parroquia de Saint Patrick, La Rochelle y, en esta ocasión, bendijo e inauguró el centro de servicios para migrantes, refugiados y personas desfavorecidas. Este proyecto es la renovación del edificio del Convento junto a la Parroquia de San Patricio y fue patrocinado por la Fundación Papal.
La renovación fue dirigida por el obispo Buti y el coordinador que llevó a cabo la renovación fue el P. Eduardo Gabriel, Scalabriniano Coordinador de Proyectos Sociales y Misioneros en St Patrick’s.
Esta inauguración se realizó en preparación a la celebración de la fiesta de San Juan Bautista Scalabrini y es una contribución de los Misioneros Scalabrinianos que trabajan en la Arquidiócesis de Johannesburgo.
