The Salary Review Committee, comprising the Directors of the Stella Maris Scalabrinian Network in Taiwan – Fr. Ari and Fr. Trinh, in collaboration with the Fisheries Agency, experts from various universities, and the Tuna Longline Association, convened a meeting on Friday, October 27. The primary agenda was to deliberate on potential salary increments for Distant Water fishers.
The Scalabrinians in Taiwan remain committed to continually enhancing the labor conditions of fishers.
