Scalabrini International Migration Network and the Scalabrini Saint Charles Borromeo Province announce the release of Dr. Edward C. Stibili’s Pietro Bandini: Missionary, Social Worker, and Colonizer, 1852-1917, on the centenary of his death. It is the first in a series of studies on the founders of the Scalabrinian Congregation in the United States. Dr. Stibili published What Can Be Done to Help Them? The Italian Saint Raphael Society, 1887-1923 (New York: Center for Migration Studies, 2003), of which this book is a sequel.
