We work for the rights of migrants are included in national, regional plans, and global sustainable development, especially in the context of the post 2015 agenda for sustainable development.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Objective: a stronger civil society<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MADE aims to strengthen and enhance the capacity of organizations and networks of civil society working in the area of \u200b\u200bmigration and development to improve coordination, exchange and analysis of proposals and supporting any joint lobbying and advocacy activities.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, MADE aims to support the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/hldcivilsociety.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/0261-HDL_The-5-year-Action-Plan-GB-web2.pdf\">5-Year 8-Point Action<\/a>\u00a0Plan presented to governments by civil society during the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/hldcivilsociety.org\/\">Second High-Level Dialogue on Migration and Development<\/a>\u00a0held by the UN during October 2013.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Global and Regional Structure<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To meet these objectives, MADE revolves around global working groups and regional networks, each run by a different organization of civil society, who support each other in their work.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 3 working groups will address global issues, specifically on global governance of migration, the role of the diaspora for sustainable development, and the rights of migrant workers.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 4 Geographical Networks: Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, Asia and a Europe chapter,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.watchnreplica.com\/\">fake rolex<\/a>\u00a0will focus on the dynamics and problems of each region.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 1 Global Coordination Office in Brussels, Belgium, which coordinates the program globally.<\/p>\n<p>The program is co-funded by the European Union for an initial period of 3 years.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>MADE Americas<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In Latin America and the Caribbean, the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/rimd.reduaz.mx\/pagina\/index\">International Network on Migration and Development<\/a>\u00a0(INDM) and the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/simn-global.org\/\">Scalabrini International Migration Network<\/a>\u00a0with the collaboration of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/fundacionscalabrini.cl\/\">Scalabrini Foundation<\/a>, direct the activities acting in concert and complementary.<\/p>\n<p>Planned activities in Latin America and the Caribbean include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Regional and sub-regional meetings of civil society throughout 2014 and 2015.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of various reports and documents as well as technical support for advocacy and lobbying, specific to the region of Latin America.<\/li>\n<li>Mapping of CSOs in the region active in immigration issues and his experience in the region<\/li>\n<li>Implementation by Network Scalabrini a small fund to finance up to five CSOs in the region in collaboration with government programmes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Joining MADE Americas<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Without the active participation and input from national organizations and sub-regional networks or coalitions, MADE will be just another programme without much impact.<\/p>\n<p>All civil society organizations working on migration and development projects are invited to join.<\/p>\n<p>To join or get more information, contact:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Rodolfo Cordova, Program Coordinator (INDM): rodolfocordova@gmail.com<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Idenilso Bortolotto, Program Coordinator (Red Scalabrini): Idenilso@gmail.com and fundacionsclabrinichile@gmail.com<\/p>\n<p>For additional information you can also visit:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/madenetwork.org\/\">http:\/\/madenetwork.org\/<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MADE: connect migrants with global civil society to change policies for the wellbeing of all migrants and communities.
