Fr. Ansensius Guntur, CS, was born in Goloworok (Indonesia). He is a member of the Congregation of the Missionaries of St. Charles (Scalabrinians) whose mission is to serve the migrants, seafarers/fishers, and the refugees. Fr. Ansensius is currently working in Kaohsiung, Taiwan as the Chairman of the Episcopal Commission for the migrants and itinerant people at the Archdiocese of Kaohsiung, R.O.C. (Taiwan). He is also the Director of Stella Maris International Migrants Service Center in Taiwan, and the Regional Director of SIMN for Australia-Asia.

Fr. Asensious was the Rector of Philosophy House in Maumere, Indonesia from 2016 to 2018, and Rector of Formation House in Ruteng, Indonesia from 2013 to 2016.

Fr. Ansensius received his degree in Theology from the University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome and a degree in Spirituality from the Gregorian University in Rome, Italy.
