After completing his studies in Philosophy in Piacenza (IT) and the Bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas, he obtained his Master’s degree in Pastoral Theology of Human Mobility from SIMI (Scalabrini International Migration Institute) in Rome. He lived in Los Angeles for two years, working with Latin American migrants. From 2004 to 2012, he was the European coordinator of the Scaym (Scalabrinian Youth Movement). In the last 16 years he lived in Switzerland, where he worked in Basel and in Bern with Italian-, Spanish-, and Portuguese-speaking migrants and he has carried out pastoral service in the federal asylum centers.
In 2019 he obtained a Doctorate in the Faculty of Theology of the University of Fribourg (CH) with a thesis intitled “Comunità di linguaggio alla frontiera”.
Now he’s Director for Europe and Africa of SIMN, an organization that supports, promotes and coordinates the socio-pastoral action of the Scalabrinian Missionaries globally.
