San Salvador, December 10, 2018 – On December 8, the First Posada del Migrante was held in the Casa del Migrante in San Salvador. This activity included the participation of girls, boys, and adolescents from municipalities affected mainly by migration and forced displacement. 

In this event, educational workshops were held where migration, forced displacement and refuge were explained. Afterward, the participants were able to express what they considered to be the main causes of migration and what they considered to be the risks that people could face during their migration route. At the end of the activity, all the children participated in the breaking of piñatas; they ate snacks and received gifts.
