Bogotá, May 3, 2023 – Thanks to the work carried out by the entrepreneurship and employability area of Corporación Scalabrini, the first entrepreneurship plans were presented by some students who attended the entrepreneurship courses at the Centro de Formación.

Among the plans presented were fast food products, businesses focused on aesthetics, and bakery areas. The design of this products was thanks to the classes and training processes that the students have had.

Of the proposals submitted, the best business plans will receive support through seed capital. This support will allow students to step closer to their dreams and improve their living conditions through their businesses. These proposals will be chosen by a selection committee made up of officials from the administrative area, the general coordination, and the direction of Corposcal (Scalabrinian entity member of SIMN).

This entrepreneurship initiative is supported thanks to the Red Inter-Congregacional, a project supported by the Global Solidarity Fund and the Scalabrini International Migration Network and of which the priests of the Red Scalabrini Colombia, the Scalabrinian Missionary Sisters, through the Fundación de Atención al Migrante, the Augustinian Recollect Friars, and the Sisters of the Divine Will.
