On August 10th, the Scalabrini Migrant House in Guatemala joyfully celebrated its 18th anniversary, providing welcome, comfort, and hope to every migrant who has arrived to the welcoming center and supporting those seeking a new beginning along the way. Since its founding, the House has been a safe space where migrants find comprehensive support, a supportive ear, and the certainty of not being alone on their journey.
On the occasion of this anniversary, various activities were held throughout the week to commemorate this journey of service and commitment. They were days of encounter, gratitude, and a renewal of the missionary spirit that drives us to continue building bridges of solidarity and hospitality with those most in need.
