Support for Scalabrini Programs in Switzerland

The Scalabrinians have worked with local and international entities to support the Centro Studi e Ricerche per l ́Emigrazione (CSERPE) in Basel, as well as to organize theology classes for Italian lay people, since the 1970s. In 2006, SIMN opened its representation office at the United Nations in Geneva. Currently, the Scalabrinians run 11 chaplaincies in Affoltern Am Albis, Basel, Bern, Chur, Genève, Rorschach, Sankt Gallen, and Solothurn; the Center for Migration Studies of Basel (CSERPE); and the Representation Office of the Scalabrini International Migration Network (SIMN) in Geneva.
