SIMN’s welcoming center in Manta provides food, shelter, psychological counseling, legal assistance, vocational training, and job placement to 200 migrants every year. This project will help cover operating costs.
To prevent forced migration and re-integrate returnees, the Scalabrini mission in Manta will build a pastoral, educational, and job creation center with space for courses on tailoring, hairstyling, and electrical and gas work. This project will also include the construction of a small chapel.
