Responsible for SIMN’s policy and advocacy work regarding the global and regional human mobility agenda and policies in the Americas, in coordination with Scalabrinian regional offices and networks. Through the International Forum on Migration and Peace (FIMP) and SIMN, the aim is to foster a « Culture of Migration » in the Americas—primarily addressing migration governance challenges—while seeking to influence and draw lessons from global and regional consultative processes and national-level initiatives, all grounded in observing, analyzing, and championing the rights, urgent needs, and aspirations of migrants and their families.
