Bogota, Colombia, September 24, 2019 – On Monday, September 23, the Workshop on Grief and Acceptance for Migrants was held in the locality of Usaquén in Bogotá. The workshop was held within the framework of the Migrant Week, and its objective was to provide tools for the reflection of the adaptation process in migration, displacement and refuge contexts.
In this space they traveled through emotions lived before and after migration with people who have been brave to leave their places of origin and seek to improve their living conditions despite the fear and feeling of loss of their roots.
The Scalabrini Migration Center and a group accompanying the Archdiocese of Bogotá participated in the event.
