SIMN works with underserved migrant populations across the globe, from refugee women in Mozambique to the LGBTI community in Mexico. The Scalabrinians recognize that many of their programs are located in cities with high rates of sexual assault, gender-based violence, and hate crimes, and address those challenges with specific services and coordinated outreach. All migrants are welcome in SIMN’s centers regardless of religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, race, nationality, or legal status.
