Geneva, 12 June 2025 — The Scalabrini International Migration Network (SIMN) participated in the Annual Forum of the Global Coalition, held at the Palais des Nations in Geneva. This important gathering brought together global stakeholders committed to advancing social justice, promoting decent work, and strengthening international cooperation on migration and labor issues.

As an active member of the Coalition, SIMN was part of the high-level discussions focused on enhancing advocacy, promoting policy coherence, and generating actionable knowledge to protect vulnerable communities, particularly migrants and refugees. SIMN highlights the importance of ensuring rights-based approaches and inclusive policies that reflect the realities faced by people on the move.

The Forum emphasized the power of partnerships and cross-sector collaboration in addressing the most pressing global challenges. SIMN reaffirmed its commitment to work hand-in-hand with international organizations, governments, civil society, and grassroots actors to foster equitable and humane migration governance.
