Half of all children in Mozambique lack adequate nutrition and infant mortality is estimated at 6.6%. These numbers are likely higher among refugees. This project will provide newborns and young children up to 5-years-old and their mothers in the Maratane refugee camp with nutritional, educational, medical, and economic support, including weekly meals, chickens, and seeds for planting.
