Leading an international migration network, SIMN’s board of directors, executive staff, regional officers, and advisory committees focus on three main areas of action:

  • Services to protect and promote the human, economic, social, and cultural rights of migrants, refugees, internally displaced people, and seafarers;
  • Advocacy to promote policies and programs that protect the dignity and rights of migrants and people on the move, as well as research to improve international migration governance;
  • And sustainability and capacity building programs to support Scalabrini entities in their commitment to serve and advocate for migrants and people on the move worldwide.
