Manila, March 27, 2023 – With great joy and enthusiasm, the Stella Maris Manila Seafarers Center – Ermita & Pius Branch celebrated its 14th anniversary on March 27, 2023.

The Stella Maris Manila Seafarers Center has welcomed hundreds of thousands of seafarers and fishers since it opened its doors fourteen years ago. It provides beneficiaries temporary shelter, food, educational programs including English teaching, strengthening skills, communication facilities, pastoral services, family ministry, and counseling. In addition, the center provides support and accompaniment through hospital visits, ship visits, Pre-Departure Orientation Seminars (PDOS), advocacy, and paralegal advice.

To cherish the occasion, a very special Mass was celebrated by Fr. Paulo, Director of the seafarer’s center, and a delicious dinner was served to share with the seafarers and fishers.
