Cúcuta, Colombia, April 28, 2020 – A successful visit had the Cúcuta Mission on behalf of the highest authority of the Scalabrinian congregation worldwide, the General Superior Father Leonir Chiarello, accompanied by the Provincial Superior Father Angelo Plodari and the Provincial Treasurer Father Ezio Marchetto.

On their route, they visited the construction of the new (CIAMI) Centro Integral de Atención al Migrante that is located in Villa del Rosario and will be a welcoming center and professional school with a capacity of up to 500 students. They also visited the Scalabrini Training Center and the projects that are expected to be developed soon.

During their visit, they reiterated the Scalabrinian missionary objectives to respond in times of pandemic to the migratory phenomenon that the country is going through and to continue welcoming the migrant and the displaced from the Christian vision and Scalabrinian values.
