The Scalabrini “Kay Beniamino” Community Center in Croix-de-Bouquets promotes social and educational activities for the local population. Currently, the center offers language courses—French, Spanish, and English—literacy courses, courses in computer technology, sewing classes, tailor shops for women, culinary classes, and children’s sports (football/soccer, basketball, volleyball, and dance). The center also acts as a library and copy shop for the community. Funding for this project will support new classes, such as music, driving school (theory), baking, and pie and cake decoration. These activities will benefit 500 families in the area.
